Get ready. The Democrats are going to Slaughter Democracy

Posted at 10:12 pm in Abortion & Democrats & Life matters & Politics & health care

Ace of Spades posted some alarming news. Nancy Pelosi says that the Democrats are going to use the Slaughter Rule to pass the Senate ObamaCare bill and the vote is set for next week.
In case you’re unfamiliar, the Slaughter Rule is named after Louise “she wore her dead sister’s dentures” Slaughter and it works [...]

Video: the second Tebow Super Bowl ad

Posted at 8:21 pm in Abortion & Life matters

Here’s the original ad that garnered all the attention. It’s a cute ad with Tim tackling his mom as she talks about his being her miracle baby whom she still worries about.

As I said in the post below, the pro-abortion groups should be feeling pretty stupid about now after all their screaming that a [...]

Video: the first Tebow Super Bowl ad

Posted at 4:55 pm in Abortion & Life matters

This is the first of two Super Bowl ads that Tim Tebow and his mother Pam filmed for Focus on the Family. This one is running during the pre-game shows. As you will see it’s completely innocuous and doesn’t even mention the word abortion. Instead Pam talks about her miracle baby, Tim, and then the [...]

Planned Parenthood responds to Tim Tebow’s Super Bowl ad

Posted at 10:16 pm in Life matters

Planned Parenthood has issued a reaction to the yet-to-be-seen Super Bowl ad Tim Tebow and his mom have made. This a pretty lame response, too. Even though this ad uses well known athletes in an attempt to compete with the image of Tim Tebow, it falls flat because Planned Parenthood does not understand that it [...]

“Here’s what we do need more of: Tebows”

Posted at 12:10 pm in Abortion & Life matters

I’m as happily surprised as Kathryn Jean Lopez to find this piece by Sally Jenkins at the Washington Post:
I’m pro-choice, and Tebow clearly is not. But based on what I’ve heard in the past week, I’ll take his side against the group-think, elitism and condescension of the “National Organization of Fewer and Fewer Women All [...]

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Posted at 6:03 pm in Life matters & parenting

You may have heard in the news that a Toledo woman, Carolyn Savage, was implanted with the wrong embryo. She found out in February when she was only two months along. She and her husband were naturally shellshocked but in spite of the devastation they felt, they knew immediately that they would take the pregancy [...]

Two Iranian women face execution for converting to Christianity

Posted at 7:45 am in Christianity & Faith & Iran & Islam & Life matters

I saw this at Gateway Pundit. Marzieh Amirizadeh, 30, and Maryam Rustampoor, 27, are facing execution for converting to Christianity. Currently they are being held in an Iranian prison, which is probably worse than anything we could possibly imagine. Here’s their picture:

We get the story from the Bos News Life:
As the world focuses on the [...]

New technology lets pregnant moms hold lifesize model of their unborn babies

Posted at 7:16 pm in Abortion & Life matters

This is a remarkable new technology. In the UK when you go to get an ultrasound, you can get a lifesize model of your unborn baby:
It’s a defining moment in a parent’s life: Seeing their unborn child’s image on an ultrasound for the first time. Now pregnant women could have the chance to hold a [...]

Dr. Tiller the baby killer has been Murdered

Posted at 4:20 pm in Abortion & Life matters

This is awful. Dr. George Tiller was a killer.  He killed countless numbers of unborn babies, but he should have had his medical license taken away, not murdered.
The perpetrator has been arrested:
Sedgwick County 911 dispatchers are confirming that the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a possible suspect in Dr. George Tiller’s murder. A [...]

I got goosebumps

Posted at 6:45 pm in Abortion & Life matters

CatholicVote has an ad that hits me right in my soft spot. It’s a great ad in that it is so simple yet packs a punch with its delivery.
