Pearl Harbor Day
Sixty-eight years ago today, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor killing more than 2,400 people. This video was taken from a documentary about Pearl Harbor. You can read more about the attack at PearlHarborDay.org.
My favorite search engine, Bing, has a beautiful picture tribute. Google isn’t acknowledging it.
Terresa Monroe Hamilton at Noisy Room says this:
We remember Pearl Harbor today and salute all those who gave their lives and all those who fought for our freedom during that time… You are our heroes now and forever and we will never forget you.
Michelle Malkin posts many powerful photos from that day.
Don Surber includes a Pearl Harbor Day tribute in his Daily Scoreboard.
Andrea Shea King included her Pearl Harbor Day tribute in her post about Wreaths Across America.
Also, be sure to stop by this tribute by Third Wave Dave. It’s a comprehensive post that includes video, images, and many links.
Bookworm is remembering “a day that will live in infamy.”
A date that will live in infamy, indeed. Greyhawk at Mudville Gazette notes that the Navy chose today as the first court date for the three Navy SEALs it is accusing of “mistreating” suspected terrorists. Disgraceful.
