Obama makes himself the center of attention once again

In addition to giving thanks and stuffing ourselves with turkey, Thanksgiving means football, lots and lots of football. The games were a lot of fun, excepting the Lions’ loss to the Packers. But something else annoyed me: a stupid ad that was supposed to be about a new government program designed to help kids stay healthy and active. Keep in mind this ad is supposed to be about encouraging kids to exercise and when you watch it note who you see front and center:

Of course, Barack Obama has to be the star of the ad by being the person who catches the ball and then magnanimously hands it to a child. Can’t this guy allow someone else to be the center of attention for a little while? The ad is supposed to be about kids, why can’t a child be the one who catches the ball? Ace concurs.

Although the more I think about it, one could argue that a child did catch the ball.

I wonder how many times they had to tape that before he actually caught the ball? He’s dropped the ball on everything else he has touched since coming into office.

But I agree…he’s a large child and needs to be the center of attention. Too bad he didn’t highlight a child from the projects to be the star of the day. Oh noooo…then he wouldn’t have been able to grab all the limelight for himself.
