Seriously. He won the Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel Prize committee says they bestowed this honor on him because he has spread hope around the world. That’s all the justification the committee has to offer. He has given the world hope. Never mind the fact that he hasn’t accomplished anything that has caused peace to break out. In fact, he has contributed to more strife and ill will in the world.
When the Iranian regime brutally slaughtered Iranian citizens in the streets as they protested the obviously rigged election, President Obama offered them no support what so ever. There was a reason the protesters’ signs were in English; they desperately needed the Leader of the Free World’s moral support. He gave them nothing.
When the Honduras supreme court ousted Zelaya for trying to illegally install himself as president for the rest of his life, Obama sided with Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro and denounced Honduras’ attempts to protect its constitutional democracy. He as since cut off all financial aid to that country.
Obama dithers as Iran gets closer and closer to building a nuclear warhead that can be attached to a bomb capable of hitting Israel. He also defunded the State Department’s Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, an agency dedicated to documenting the violent regime’s barbaric oppression of its citizens. The message he sent to Iran’s mullahs is that they can massacre all the non-conformists they want because he is giving them cover.
And the Nobel Prize Committee says Obama has given the world hope and is deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize. I think there are few people in this world, particularly in Iran, who are not feeling a whole lot of hope and change right now.

When I heard the news this morning, I seriously thought it was JOKE. When I realized it wasn’t, my next thought was, “For WHAT?!?!?!” I think most people are thinking along those line.
