Breaking: ACORN Files Law Suit Against O’Keefe, Giles, and Breitbart

Nevermind the fact that the ACORN’s Baltimore employees were video taped offering advice on how to defraud the IRS and hide an illegal brothel that would use under aged girls from El Salvador as sex slaves. ACORN, with all the self-righteous indignation it can muster, is suing James O’Keefe, Hannah Giles, and Andrew Breitbart for illegally taping the organization’s Baltimore employees without their knowledge. From the AP:

Community activist group ACORN is suing the makers of a hidden-camera video that showed employees of its Baltimore office giving tax advice to a man posing as a pimp and a woman posing as a prostitute.
The liberal group contends that the audio portion of the video was obtained illegally because Maryland requires two-party consent to create sound recordings.

The two employees seen in the video were fired after it was posted online. The lawsuit says the employees, Tonja Thompson and Shera Williams, suffered “extreme emotional distress.”

This is what we call chutzpah, kids. Seriously, though, I’m thinking the law of unclean hands applies in this case.

  1. [...] Kim Priestap is right: “chutzpah” is a very good word to use in this case. Another good word is “foolish”. This suit is likely to throw the doors of discovery wide open, which should be a surprise to absolutely no one. If Lewis didn’t know this (and she should be fired if she didn’t), then her attorney certainly should have. I have to imagine that the last thing ACORN wants is Andrew Breitbart’s lawyers pawing through their records. [...]

I like how the employees ACORN fired are listed along side ACORN.

How is that supposed to work exactly?
