Health care bill delayed indefinitely

Finally some good news on the health care reform front from Roll Call:

House Democrats’ health care bill has been delayed indefinitely as leaders continue negotiations with fiscally conservative Blue Dog Democrats.

This is not to say I don’t think there should be any health care reform. We need health care reform because the system we have is simply unacceptable. The government is too much into health care as it is, which is why the costs are so high. We need more free market solutions, not more government.

    Kim,
Just a quick note of interest-I was recently hospitalized and every health care professional who entered my room ended up making a comment about the fear they shared over health care reform. I told all of these professionals that I hoped they would speak up about their fears so the rest of us wouldn’t be left with yet another ridiculous way to get us to support everyone else, and wondering in years to come how we can get the government out of our lives and on with the job they were meant to do.
