Barney Frank admit the “public option” is the best way to get to a single payer system

Even though the president insists the public option he likes so much is not a single payer system, Barney Frank admits freely that a “good public option” would lead to a single payer health care system.

The United States has the best health care system in the world. Leaders from countries all over this earth come here to for their health care. We can cover those who honestly can’t afford insurance, but the last thing we should do is dismantle the entire system, making it significantly less efficient and effective for everyone. Instead, you take its best part, that it relies on private health insurance companies, and expand on that by infusing more free market principles, not less.

I couldn’t agree more! I hope and pray that people put pressure on Washington not to pass this idiotic (and creepy) monstrosity.
