It’s not the Age of Enlightenment as some Obamaphiles would like you to think. It’s the Age of Insanity.
Obama and the Democrats are pushing a stimulus bill that won’t stimulate anything but more government intervention in our lives that’s now approaching $900 billion. If this bill is so necessary, if it’s such a good bill, then why won’t the Dems just pass it without any Republican votes? They’ve got clear majorities in the House and the Senate, so what’s stopping them? They know that once the American people find out the sheer insanity that’s in the bill, they will throw a fit.
Take for example this nugget: $4 billion is going to ACORN, the group accused of voter fraud. Oh, it’s not called ACORN in the bill. Instead the Dems use the innocuous “neighborhood stabilization” groups. Thankfully, the $200 million that had been dedicated to contraception were removed after a public outcry. For more information on the insanity of this bill and why stimulus is a misnomer, watch Dan Mitchell’s video:
So what are the Democrats and Obama doing? They are trying to get Republicans to vote for it so that when it does blow up in their faces, they can claim it was a bi-partisan bill and that everyone was to blame. But if the Republicans can stand together and refuse to vote for it, then they can win this battle and get some sanity back into Washington. So far, so good. They appear to be sticking together in opposition to this bill. But the Republicans need to continue to stay strong. Contact your Congressman or Congresswoman and tell him or her to vote against this monstrosity.
President Obama sat down for his very first one on one TV interview with Al Arabia television. I’m not thrilled about that, but he can talk to whomever he wishes. What’s insane is some of the things he said to the Muslim world. I can’t believe he agreed with the premise that the hatred Muslims felt toward the US began with the Iraq War. That is as false as the day is long.
- 9/11 happened before the Iraq War.
- The USS Cole bombing occurred before the Iraq War.
- The two embassy bombings in Tanzania and Kenya occurred before the Iraq War.
- The first World Trade Center bombing occurred before the Iraq War.
- The bombings of our barracks in Beirut occurred before the Iraq War.
- The Iranian hostage crisis occurred before the Iraq War.
And there’s so much more. The list of violent actions by Muslim extremists toward America is a long one. It’s insane that Barack Obama went on Muslim television and acted like none of that ever happened.
We’re living in the Age of Insanity where what was once evil is now good, and what was good is now evil. Everything has been turned upside down.
Thanks for stopping back. I've got a lot of new content for you to read.

I really like your web page. Very Nice. Your right as well. I must be repeating that phrase 10 times a day. “its insane!” Have been for years now. But its only grown worse with the election of the liberal god Obama. Our son was murdered by al-Nashiri and now that psychotic may go free. We have had to watch as all his killers have been freed in yemen by Saleh. Even now they are going to send 94 ex gitmo Yemenis back to him, while he protects our sons kilers. One still has a five milliondollar reward on his head by the FBI. Thats insane!!! It just means more letters to our senators, our third president! Remeber the Cole! keep up the good fight!
Seriously? You’re going to defend the Republican party after 8 years of the disaster that was the Bush administration? After 8 years of Republicans in the House and Senate effectively rubber stamping anything Bush and Cheney wanted? After 8 years of American civil liberties being trampled on? After 8 years of the Bush administration effectively spitting in the international community’s face? After 8 years of irresponsible spending that doubled the national debt to 10 trillion dollars (more spending than every other president in history combined with nothing to show for it but two wars and an economy in shambles?) Seriously? You’re really going to try and attack the Dems after THAT track record? After Torture? After FEMA’s infamous incompetence during Katrina? After Gitmo? Seriously?
Obama is reaching out to Republicans because unlike his predecessor, he’s trying to live up to his campaign promise of being bi-partisan. It might be hard for you to accept honesty and integrity for what they are after 8 years of deceit and contempt, but that’s what it looks like. Sure he could pass it through without Republicans, but he’s being bi-partisan.
And by the way, it wasn’t the Muslim world that attacked on 9/11, it wasn’t the Muslim world that attacked the Cole or the embassies. It was a fringe of Islamic extremists. The Muslim world is mad at the U.S. for unilaterally invading a Muslim country (sure it was a secular state but it was inhabited by a majority who are Muslims). They’re mad at the U.S. because their foreign policy ignored the Muslim world until the twilight of the Bush years when he finally gave an ear to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.
C’mon, seriously, just because you’re a Republican doesn’t mean you have to blindly toe the party line. See reality for what it is. There is no giant Dem conspiracy here. It’s just a cleanup job after the disaster that was the past 8 years.
I agree! The values that, in decades past, tended to keep the fringe elements (mostly wacko nut-jobs) in check have been decimated: thanks to Godless, corrupt politicians & idealogues. Not that difficult, once the educational system was infiltrated.
Democrat? Republican? I’m thinking they’re both practically irrelevant. It’s the people pulling their strings who create the society that we have to deal with. The one world government/one world financial system debate is alive & well in Europe & will be visited by Congressmen & Senators in the U.S. after it becomes obvious that they can’t bail out & stimulate their way to financial stability. We’re going to get “CHANGE” but it won’t be change that many claimed to “HOPE” for.
As for hatred of the west, I’m thinkin’ it goes back to the days of the Crusades & probably earlier.
Great post. I too find myself saying this is all too insane. Good is bad, and bad is good.
And the previous comment from Ara…. made me want to barf.
Keep up the the great work!!
